Lead Processing

Lead Processing? (I just want bookings...)

While the ultimate goal of all our site designs is to facilitate as many online bookings as possible, sometimes all you have is a lead. Why would you leave those opportunities on the table?

Book Now An imperative part of achieving higher occupancy rates is capturing and converting leads. But how do you effectively process leads?

Capturing Leads

The Bookt platform intelligently captures leads from various spots on your site:

Booking Screens:
The booking process is broken down into 2 different guest information pages. The primary reason we do this is make the checkout process appear less intimidating. The second reason is to capture guest information (a lead) on a screen prior to payment information. If a visitor "abandons" the payment information screen, the name, contact information, and the property details have all been saved in your Bookt control panel and a new lead notification has been sent to your email.

Property Pages:
All property pages have an inquiry form. If a visitor has a general question about a property (e.g. if animals are allowed, additional services available etc.), they can easily leave their contact information and a question. This too is considered a lead.

Capturing Leads
Contact Us:
Your contact page has a request form that also accepts inquiries given that the visitor provides their contact information. You can also import data from other sources such as email, to make sure all leads are consistently handled and no inquiries fall through the cracks.

Processing Leads

In order to convert leads into bookings, we recommend that you try to follow up with leads within 30 minutes of notification. It is likely that within that time, the comparison shopper has not yet made a selection. Speaking to a friendly and helpful representative always goes the extra distance in assuring the customer that they are making the right choice (and our statistics show that this type of follow up is most likely to generate a closed sale).

As soon as a lead is registered on your site, the data is stored in your Control Panel's Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) and sent to your inbox. When you or your staff accesses this lead, you are provided with tools for booking and follow up. The outcome and channel in which the lead came from are tracked, so you know exactly where your marketing dollars are most effective!
