User Subscription Details
Technical Support
Offering world class technical support and expert help is very important to you. For us, it is crucial to the success of any online solution, no matter how well designed or implemented. At Bookt, we offer:
- Unlimited support with instructions that non-techies will understand, and help on how to use the system.
- A toll-free telephone, in the United States, with email support available 9am to 6pm EST Monday through Friday.
- After-hours emergency support, available via a special phone option.
Professional Services
In addition to our Industry Solution Packages and Silver/Gold/Diamond Service levels, Bookt also provides a range of a la carte professional services at $120/hour including:
- Web design
- Web development
- Data management
- Copywriting
More advanced services, such as custom programming or highly specialized technical needs, may carry a higher hourly rate. Control Panel Training is billed at $100/h.
Bookt's Billing and Payment Policies
Following are our standard billing and payment procedures:
- All fees can be paid by credit card for your convenience and protection
- Setup and retainer fees are due prior to the initial launch meeting
- Recurring fees under $1,000, such as web hosting, require a credit card on file
- A minimum of 2 users for each solution is required
- Additional professional services not included in package will be billed prior to project start
- Monthly billing statements are sent on the 1st of the subsequent month
- Monthly billing statements are due on the 4th of the subsequent month
Monthly billing begins on the date your first Bookt website goes live and will be pro-rated in monthly billing cycle.
Bookt Terms of Service
Here is the fine print. Please take the time to review. We think this is a very fair deal and we hope you will too.
- You, the client, retain ownership of any data, design or content either contributed by you or developed by Bookt.
- Original design source files are available at your request.
- The Bookt website packages do not carry any long-term contracts or other commitments from you
- Bookt, LLC retains ownership of all platform technology, database structures, and hosting facilities.

Utilization Based Pricing
As described on the User Subscription info page, each solution user gets access to a tremendous amount of features and services through a low monthly subscription fee. Bookt does not charge extra because you add additional inventory or get more reservations. That’s the goal of the system and we certainly don’t want to penalize your success. That said, larger customers tend to use more technical and support resources and obviously derive more value from their solution. To account for that we have a user based subscription license. More active users mean a higher monthly cost – the same as the vast majority of other cloud based services out there. You control when you add new users. The new users will automatically be billed in the next cycle in a pro-rated fashion. You can also remove users should you not need them anymore and thereby get a lower monthly cost.
To prevent abuse of this system (e.g. by a larger company sharing a low number of users), we reserve the right to apply overage charges, based on hard usage metrics from your solution. The billable metrics are Solution Page views, API Transactions (the low level access to the Bookt Platform) and Emails Sent.
See below for the stamdard allowances. They have been designed so the average hotel/VR company will not trigger them if they add all customer facing personnel as users (e.g. the people who are using the Bookt Control Panel on a daily basis):

A general rule of thumb is that each visit generate on average 5 page views and 20 API transactions. Depending on your specific configuration and usage pattern this may vary.
If you get a notice from us that you have exceeded your allowance, the easiest and most cost effective way to address it to simply activate additional Control Panel users.
