Whenever a booking occurs, a financial transaction occurs at the same time. We create detailed invoice statements associated with each booking that itemizes all applicable charges, taxes and fees. Based on sophisticated rules we also set invoice due dates and other related information and allow you to see your accounts receivable pipeline.

When payments are applied, this information is updated in real-time giving you full visibility into your financial activity.

Payment Integration

Credit cards and other electronic payment methods continue to become more and more popular with guests.

The Bookt platform integrates easily with your merchant account and other e-payment technologies. We offer several different affordable gateway options (e.g. Authorize.net, FirstData and SagePay) and can link both your booking engine and your Property Management solution to the same merchant account.

3rd Party Accounting Integration

We offer a very deep integration with the world’s most popular accounting software - QuickBooks. Through our completely automated link, transactions occurring in your Bookt system automatically carry over into your accounting system, enabling full data transfer with a minimum of effort. Through very flexible configuration options we can support a wide variety of accounting setups using features such as QuickBooks classes and sub accounts

If you use another accounting program we can either provide you with standardized accounting export data files or create a custom integration.

Why we don't call our PMS solution an "Accounting System"

Bookt does not offer an accounting system; we provide an online property management solution with accounting features. Some of our competitors make the opposite claim. We continue to ask ourselves why? When affordable and easy to use accounting systems that almost all CPAs and bookkeepers are familiar with, why would you want to track 1099s, write checks or pay your employees and vendors from your PMS System? Also, given how extremely complicated the US and foreign tax codes and accounting regulations are, we would imagine that everyone involved is more comfortable leaving that part to accounting software vendors who specialize in that complex topic.

The key is instead to keep track of all relevant financial transactions and make it easy to transfer them to your primary accounting system. That's what Bookt offers.
